As we get ready to count down the final days to 2011, I am getting a lot of emails about finishing the year strong. I’m being told to start thinking about 2012, what my goals are and what changes I want to make.  I got some news today that made me realize that I don’t have to wait until 2012 to make a change. So….

I’m going to be changing my website and it’s focus over the next few weeks. While I am still about being frugal and doing it elegantly as much as possible, I’m really ready and able now to focus on the source of that philosophy. I’m stepping out in faith and following my passion and calling to help women really find ways to live out the verses I received as a ministry verse a few years ago. The verses are Isaiah 61:1-3. In the New King James Translation verse 3  talks about having  beauty for ashes, joy for mourning and praise for heaviness (or despair). That’s what I desire for women going through stuff. It can something big or small. It all affects us, which affects those around us. And I want the good stuff for us all. And God does too.

Please join me as I embrace and move forward with something I think is wonderful and life-changing. I’ll be starting a bi-monthly devotional.  Look for the post about it in the next couple of days. I’m excited for everyone joining me as I step into something that’s kind of old but kind of new too. Invite a friend or two and let’s get our joy party going!
